Kathy Hepinstall did what few writers are able to do, and she did it in an advertisement. Through her Nike Women’s advertisements she captured the harmony between strength and beauty. She found a way to empower and enthrall, and sell clothes. These ads are both provocative and insightful. If you put them on a plate they would be nutritious and appetizing, if you put then in a pair of shorts they would flaunt their hips, yet maintain their elegance. She gave feminism a pair of high heals and a mean walk. Her audacity is inspiring.
She is unapologetically woman, and I’m not going to apologize for thinking it’s sexy.
